Telesales Manager

 

Salary to £60,000 – 80,000 + bonus + car + pension + benefits

 

Based: London with UK travel

 

We are a UK multinational with turnover measured in £billions. We have entered a period of exciting growth in terms of both profit and volume. This has resulted in a need to strengthen our senior management team.

 

Reporting to the Sales Director, your primary responsibility will be to lead our telesales teams, through developing and activating a telesales strategy. Through true leadership, capability development and strong sales focus you will develop and maintain our business at a world class level.

 

Managing a team of 7 direct reports an indirect team in excess of 100 people you will take responsibility for the strategic direction of the telesales function. You will provide training and commercial guidance to your first line managers and provide overall leadership to the telesales team.

 

Overall Responsibilities

 

  • ·          Responsible for the overall contribution margin for the 3 channels and forging strong relationships with key stakeholders around the business.
  • ·          Ensure contribution targets, customer SLA, mix and quality KPI’s are achieved
  • ·          Understanding our customer requirements and delivering a valuable sales proposition that assists them to achieve their business goals
  • ·          Working directly with the team to drive the strategy, seizing accountability for the targets and truly enhance our customer experience

  • ·          Capability to transform a sales approach from managing numbers to driving a new philosophy
  • ·          Ability to create, manage and deliver a best practice approach to the strategy
  • ·          Excellent communication skills, able to interact with key stakeholders at all levels across the business
  • ·          A demonstrable heritage in managing teams and a proven track record in achieving targets
